Ginko trees are often called "living fossils" because they are one of the oldest living species of trees. They have been on our planet for over 170 million years, first appearing in the middle of the Jurassic era.
Didn't get this one right? Don't worry! Just like other living things, there's a lot of diversity in the plant kingdom, and even two trees of the same species can look very different from each other. Identification takes practice!
